Lance Miller Set to Kick Off 4th Annual Corvettes for a Cure Event on July 22nd!

Phoenixville, February 20, 2007 - A driven dedication to the Alzheimer's Association marks the fourth annual Corvettes for a Cure event on July 22, 2007. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Phoenixville Plaza. All event proceeds will be donated to the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

The highlight of the show will undoubtedly be the attendance of Lance Miller, of Corvettes at Carlisle fame, who will award the "Second Annual Lance Miller's Choice Trophy." Miller is the son of the legendary Chip Miller, the founder of Carlisle Events. Lance will once again bring one of the famous Corvettes from the Miller collection and will sign autographs.

The 2007 event is slated to surpass the success of last year's event. The third annual show included almost 100 cars, double from the previous year, and raised over $3,000, triple the amount previously raised. The goal for this year is 150 cars and $5,000.

Corvettes for a Cure was created by Adam Wartell, the founder of C3 Vette Registry, a members-only online club for Corvette owners. The event honors his grandmother, who died of the devastating disease.

?Through the support of the Corvette community, this show will build on the success of past years," Wartell said. "This event is a great opportunity to share our love of Corvettes while raising money for a very worthy cause."

Participants will judge winners in the classes C1 through C6 and Best of Show. All winners will receive trophies. The event will include entertainment, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

Pre-registration is $15 by June 22nd and $20 at the show. Spectators are welcome for a donation of $5 at the show. To register, sponsor this event or for general information, please visit our website www.CorvettesForACure.com or call Adam Wartell at 610.409.9047.
